Stockland Western Australia Assets

The Challenge

EnergyTec were initially engaged by Stockland in 2006 to undertake the core service of Meter Reading and Billing at The Durack Centre. Throughout the years, this has expanded to include retail assets in Western Australia that are within an Embedded Network, as well as Affinity Retirement Village.

Conducting Meter Network Audits at each of the assets, investigating the existing metering infrastructure at the site and identified the metered and unmetered electrical consumption within the network. Following the audits, EnergyTec provided Stockland with an invaluable Meter Network Defect Report and recommendations to fix all anomalies and increase energy cost recovery.

Our Solution

Stockland has been utilising EnergyTec’s services for over 14 years’. In August 2019, the relationship was strengthened through the execution of Stockland’s Management Services Agreement (MSA) across the 6 sites in WA, for the mutual benefit of both parties.

The level of service was upgraded from Meter Reading and Billing, to Billing and Embedded Network Administrator Services. Under this agreement, EnergyTec manually read and report on the meters at each site, as well as provide Stockland with an annual update of meter network documentation (Meter Network Drawings), and an annual Meter Network Defect Report, following the outcome of scheduled annual site inspections.
