Update: WA Businesses operating within Embedded Networks are eligible to receive the $500 electricity offset

The Western Australian Government continues to announce measures to support small business during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Following the ANZAC Day long weekend snap lockdown, Energy Policy WA have provided EnergyTec with an update into the application for businesses operating within embedded networks to apply for their electricity offset.

As part of our advocacy on behalf of our clients, we have been formally advised by Energy Policy WA that information regarding the process for accessing the $500 credit for small businesses and charities that are not supplied power by Synergy and Horizon Power is now available on the wa.gov.au website.

Applications for the credit will open in June for businesses that use less than 50 MWh (or less than $15,000 worth of power) per year.

You can check tenant usage on your EnergyTec reconciliation reports to determine who is eligible.
